About the Job
As we continue to transform out IT landscape, we are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Manager to be the owner of all supporting IT infrastructure (both on premise and cloud) services at Rest.
Reporting into the Head of IT Maintenance and Support, you will work closely with a talent team of IT professionals in a collaborative, fun environment to manage the infrastructure that enables the delivery of customer facing IT services including hardware, software, storage, video conferencing, network, room booking system, telephony and lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Set clear expectations, monitor and establish strong relationships with all infrastructure vendors in line with contractual agreements and SLAs
  • Intimately understand the infrastructure services landscape and act as the technical escalations point for unresolved infrastructure technical issues
  • Drive resolutions with vendors as needed and ensuring root cause are identified and addressed accordingly
  • Provide technical expertise for the Innovation and Technology team around infrastructure architecture and design activities, ensuring alignment with Rest enterprise architecture, standards and principles
  • Manage continuous improvements/optimisation for the infrastructure landscape at Rest 
  • Contribute to the overall technology strategy to ensure continued alignment and relevance in a dynamic changing environment
  • Ensure the IT Disaster Recovery plan is maintained, tested yearly and is up to date in line with business expectations  
  • Manage, execute and oversee core infrastructure projects
  • Work closely with the IT Security and Risk Lead to address infrastructure security matters

About You:          
Qualifications:
  • Related tertiary or technical qualifications
Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
  • Proven experience in an infrastructure leadership role
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical IT infrastructure
  • Excellent cloud solutions experience, particularly in AWS and Azure including leveraging its benefit to deliver competitive advantage for the organisation
  • Demonstrated understand of the infrastructure security landscape
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure services (LAN/WAN, Servers, Office 365, DNS, DHCP, Single Sign On, Active Directory Video Conferencing etc.)
  • Extensive experience in dealing with vendors and senior stakeholders
  • A passion for innovation and keeping up with modern trends
  • ITIL Knowledge and experience
