About the Job:

A great opportunity to grow and develop your team assistant skills within our Employer and Industry Engagement Group, working with a highly supportive and fun team, where your contribution will be valued.  

You understand that by providing great support to our Advice and Education teams to be more efficient and effective, is an essential part of what we do to deliver to our members.  Being organised and collaborative is second nature to you.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Management of team events and where necessary supporting the Event Specialist in co-ordinating agreed key Advice & Education events.
  • Provide relief / overflow for employer and member calls to Advice and Education teams phone numbers, answering customers’ questions, directing customers to the right person.
  • Co-ordinating meetings, including team meetings, and provide agendas, minutes & actions for meetings as required.
  • Proactively managing and responding to office communication.
  • Providing support in drafting committee papers, reports and presentations to timelines.
  • Co-ordinating the travel and support / presentation materials required for employer facing events.
  • Coordinate budget monitoring, including data entry, report production and manage filing system for the team. Managing expense claims and credit card reconciliation processes.
  • Perform ad hoc administration for the team including: inductions, new starters and team training requirements.
  • Manage the Marketo process for seminar management and execution.

About you:

You have a natural enthusiasm and passion to learn and grow your skills, a collaborative style and an understanding of the importance of delivering a positive experience for internal and external stakeholders. You want to feel valued for the work you do and know that it matters.
 
  • Proven experience in providing administrative support services.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to plan, prioritise and organise, with strong attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal – comfortable in working with a broad range of people.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
