About the Job  

We are looking for an experience Business Analyst to join our team on an 18-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Agile BA lead, you will work closely with the Programme Manager as an integral part of project team, managing the implementation of our whole of fund Portfolio Management System. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Stakeholder management – Work with executive’s, senior leaders and project managers to
  • create and maintain an operating plan
    Analyse - Documents, programs, logic, process flows and specifications
  • Partner and vendor management -
    • Partner with business and technology partners to elicit, analyse, translate, and
  • document business requirements into technical requirements
  • Partner with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing
  • Communication - Document user manuals to describe installation and operating procedures
  • Delivery - Coordinate the project team resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time
  • and within budget.

About You: 

  • BA body of knowledge (industry standard).
  • At least 5 years Business Analyst experience
  • project management, change management, process architecture or systems integration.
  • Ability to develop compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing requirements and test specifications.
  • Able to understand business functionality and translate it into requirements.
  • Business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services essential highly regarded
  • Previous experience working in Investment Management organisations, ideally with experience in dealing with front, middle and back office functions would be highly regarded
  • knowledge of Portfolio Management Systems, Order Management Systems, and Execution Management Systems across multiple asset classes would be highly regarded
  • Experience and knowledge within investments working for, or with superannuation funds would be highly regarded.
