Rest's Structured options are invested across a mix of different asset classes to match different member needs. We determine an appropriate asset allocation to enable each option to achieve its investment objective. As a member you can choose either one or a mix of the seven structured options:
Core Strategy
Achieve a balance of risk and return by investing in both growth assets and defensive assets.
Capital Stable
Provide a stable pattern of returns whilst maintaining a low probability of a negative return in any one year.
Balanced
Achieve a balance of risk and return by investing in approximately equal proportions of growth assets and defensive assets.
Balanced - Indexed
An indexed based investment in a mixture of growth and defensive assets.
Diversified
Achieve strong returns over the longer term by investing in a diversified mix of assets weighted towards shares and other growth assets.
High Growth
Maximise returns over the long-term by investing predominantly in growth assets.
Sustainable Growth
A diversified portfolio with enhanced environmental, social and governance investment characteristics weighted towards growth assets.
Rest’s Member-tailored options are ideal for members who want to build their own customised investment portfolio. Choose from one or more of the following options:
Cash
Deposits with major Australian banks. The portfolio currently invests exclusively into deposits with ANZ
(60%) and NAB (40%).
Bonds
Australian and overseas debt securities.
From 30 September 2023, Bonds will be closed to new members. If you are
currently invested in Bonds, there are changes to how you can use it as an investment option. Download
