About the job:

You will work closely with the National Manager, Advice Solutions, to provide advice and technical support and resources for the team. A strategic role, covering reporting, compliance support and acting as an SME to the Advisors; you will be instrumental in bring about new efficiencies within the Advice team.
Ideally suited for an experienced planner or paraplanner looking to step into a more senior role, you will have the opportunity to work in an amazing team, who have a lot of fun whilst focusing on outcomes that are genuinely in the best interest of our members. The team targets reflect this with KPI’s based on quality and net promotor scores.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

Financial planning technology support:

  • Being subject matter expert on Rest’s advice technology
  • Ensuring there are clear procedure manuals, training and support made available to the team.
  • Analysing technology for new processes or improvements to existing processes
  • Verba call recording – ensure this solution meets ongoing business requirements and investigate possible enhancements to Rest’s usage of this solution.
  • TIPT – liaise with the phone advice team and IT solutions to ensure this meets ongoing business requirements.
  • Aaspire and Pivotal
    • Manage user access requests
    • Assist with escalating any issues when they occur
    • Provide reporting in accordance with reporting schedule, and as required.

Compliance support:
  • Reporting on system compliance and adequacy
  • Maintaining procedure manuals to ensure proper system usage
  • Monitor digital advice document production for technical issues (reporting and assurance).

About you:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • RG 146 in superannuation preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workings of financial planning software.
  • Data and reporting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of the superannuation industry and the associated compliance obligations as they relate to superannuation funds and superannuation trustees and/or strong financial planning background.
  • Experience working on projects with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) and prioritising competing deadlines 
  • Demonstrated ability to train and coach.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an environment requiring attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
