About the Job

This position is part of our Data Strategy & Governance team where their mandate is to set up our data architecture strategy for the future. Whilst executing for today and planning for tomorrow, the Integration Architect will define, design & own our integration architecture and data lifecycle. It will partner with development teams, solution delivery and business stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes and reduce operational costs.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Define, develop & document the integration architecture to align with business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and document the data & API lifecycle
  • Share best practice knowledge with Architects across IT disciplines (e.g. solution, information) to ensure integration designs fit within the overall project solution architecture.
  • Mentor, guide and consult on integration issues with the business and other integration stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement principles, policies, standards and guidelines for data management in collaboration with senior data management and API Management resources.
  • Work with other team members to conduct compliance checks on all data repositories to ensure adherence to data governance and APRA guidelines (CPG 235)
  • Communicate and enforce quality coding & naming standards.

About You:

With a breadth of experience from a variety of projects, you are a seasoned Integration Architect highly proficient with data and API systems. Demonstrating excellent API lifecycle management skills, you have the confidence and communication style to engage with stakeholders along the journey to achieve the outcomes required. You are a strong leader capable of challenging the business constructively and not afraid to push back to ensure the best outcomes are achieved for the benefit of the organisation’s future.
 
 
Other requirements include:
 
  • Experience with both ETL and API management is mandatory (preferably with WSO2 and Talend)
  • Hands-on experience with branded integration tools (e.g. WSO2) and programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, Synapse)
  • Expertise with Microservices highly preferred.
