About the Job

As Data Architect, you will be responsible for the design of data and analytics solutions to help enable Rest’s business strategy. Your experience and enthusiasm will drive a range of strategic initiatives to uplift and modernise our current data and analytics landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrated experience driving architectural change focusing on delivering tangible business outcomes
  • Design solutions for the enterprise data warehouse, master data, data analytics platform and data integration solutions.
  • Gather design requirements; plan, coordinate and participate in workshops, solution refinement, development activities, and support the testing of data & analytics work streams.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience, collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Define and maintain architectural patterns and standards for information / data architectures and ensure alignment with the overall technology architecture
  • Work on projects to deliver Solution Design artefacts including Conceptual Designs, High Level Designs, Technical Assessments, Solution Option Papers
  • Understand Rest’s business strategy, ensuring enterprise-wide compliance with Rest’s technology standards and frameworks

About You:

  • Extensive experience as a Data architect or similar role
  • Demonstrable Architecture & Implementation experience across multiple data projects and engagements.
  • Experience working with and designing scalable cloud-based data solutions using either AWS, Google or Azure is essential.
  • Good working knowledge of data cleansing, data profiling, data governance as well as data science and analytics practices.
  • Experience with designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline automation
  • An appreciation of the principals surrounding dataops & CI\CD tools like Jenkins, Github, AWS native etc.
  • Track record of excellent stakeholder communication and engagement skills
