About the Job 

Working as part of our newly created Business Connections Team, and the wider Employer, Advice and Education group, your primary focus will be developing deep commercial relationships with our key employers and stakeholders to continue to grow Rest and deliver effective workplace strategies to advise, educate and engage members.

As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients across Australia, providing phone based strategic advice and services to our employers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop a strong understanding of your employer client portfolio to support retention and execution of opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with key contacts within your employer client portfolio and increase awareness of Rest's products and services to grow market share
  • Make recommendations, and provide insights and updates, around superannuation to your set of key employers.
  • Bring the voice of the customer into Rest and help shape the employer and member value propositions to deliver to and exceed expectations.

 
About You:

Ideally, you will be an exceptional communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships, with a focus on customer excellence.  Your proven track record of developing and managing clients, along with your vibrant personality, passion, and natural affinity for helping others will see you shine in this role.

  • Previous experience in Account Management, Customer Retention, or similar role within Superannuation
  • Experience in customer service with a focus on understanding customer needs and to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
  • Expert knowledge of superannuation and experience in presenting superannuation related content.
  • Ability to communicate financial information in an easy-to-understand way
  • Demonstrated strong member and employer focus with a commitment to deliver service excellence.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of achieving service excellence 
  • A team player with highly developed interpersonal skills
