Help our members achieve the best personalised retirement outcome. Supporting the design and deliver research and insights to support the enterprise achieve the best understanding of the customer and market to assist with decision making, prioritisation and achievement of objectives that are focused around the member and employer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support Senior Manager, Insights to conduct a variety of qualitative and quantitative research projects – from project design and fieldwork through to analysis, reporting and sharing insights
  • Work closely with external research partners to manage research projects.
  • Support a range of projects from brand and market tracking, to ad hoc research for brand, communications, channel and product.
  • Analyze, report and share insights for strategic and tactical decision making
  • Manage Rest’s market intelligence program
  • Manage Rest’s vendor panel
  • Manage insights budget
  • Contribute to the development of Rest’s member segment strategies and employer strategies to drive Rest’s strategic goals;
  • Drive acquisition and retention goals.


About You:

Curious critical thinker, influencer, driven with a highly collaborative style.  You are a data storyteller, a puzzle hunter able to deliver comfortably to a wide audience – confident in your findings. You recognise that communication is fundamental with a flexible and resilient approach, relishing working within the Brand and Strategy Team and the broader Member Engagement Group and with a wide range of external stakeholders. Taking pride in the delivery and impact of your contribution.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in social sciences, marketing, market research or a similar discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Post-graduate qualifications will be viewed favourably.


Required experience, understanding or credentials including:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a research and insights role, either agency or client-side, or in an academic environment.
  • Strong project management skills, an eye for detail and adherence to timelines
  • Good understanding of the end-to-end market research process, including stakeholder engagement, research brief, experimental design, project management, analysis and reporting. This is a hands-on role and experience in research design and data analysis is essential.
  • Data analysis using Advanced Excel, Q Research software or other
  • Experience with MaritzCX or another research platform preferred
  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries preferred
  • Passionate about finding the story in the data, and sharing clear, simple insights to drive action
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
