SCH Online / Super Clearing House

You can pay all your employees’ super in one single payment

What is a clearing house?

A superannuation clearing house allows you to pay your super in one single payment, with one login, no matter who your employees’ super is with.

The clearing house distribute payments and instructions to Rest member accounts and to funds outside of Rest, on your behalf. It has quick direct entry, or you can easily upload your payroll file. You will also have access to see or download a complete history of all your super payments. 

What is SCH Online*?

SCH Online* is a third-party clearing house which is available to Rest employers and can be accessed through EmployerAccess.

How do I start using SCH Online*?

If you are a Rest employer and already have an EmployerAccess account, you simply follow these steps to register for SCH Online:

Login > My Details> Manage Preferences

Then follow the prompts to enable your SCH Online* account access.

If you do not currently have an EmployerAccess account, you can open an account today and register for SCH Online.

What to expect:

  • Enter the member and super fund details for each of your employees (a one-off process)
  • Make a single payment for each contribution period
  • A payment and notification are sent on your behalf to each of the super funds you’re making payments to.

What if I choose another clearing house?

You can make your monthly/quarterly contributions to Rest through another clearing house system. You can use certain payroll providers, ATO’s Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (subject to eligibility) or other clearing house providers. You should refer to the relevant payroll provider or clearing house directly for more information about their services.
