Superannuation fund Rest has strengthened its strategic technology and digital innovation capabilities with its latest Group Executive appointment, completing the organisation’s new leadership team.
Jeremy Hubbard has been appointed as Group Executive, Innovation & Transformation, and will be responsible for charting and executing Rest’s business strategy, and planning the fund’s strategic technology innovation.
He will lead a new team that includes strategy and planning, IT management, innovation, and data governance.
“Digital technology and innovation is crucial to how Rest connects with members and employers in ways that matter, and one of our key priorities is to accelerate in these areas and build on our existing digital customer experience offering,” said Vicki Doyle, Rest CEO.
“The Innovation & Transformation team will provide strategic planning and oversight for our whole organisation, helping all our teams work together to deliver a seamless and consistent experience for members and employers.
“Jeremy has valuable leadership experience in delivering business strategy via technology and innovation, and this will be a real asset for Rest as we build for the future.”
Jeremy has more than two decades’ experience in innovation and IT roles across corporate, SME and consulting organisations, most recently as part of the executive team at digital banking brand UBank.

Between 2013 and 2015, he worked as NAB’s Program Director, Core Banking, and then re-joined UBank.
He has played a key role in the deployment of UBank’s financial products, including home loans and transaction accounts, as well as the development of a virtual assistant to assist customers with home loan applications, and a digital personal budgeting tool.
Prior to UBank, he was the Head of IT for fintech startup Once Australia, and worked in consultancy roles for Capgemini, Morse, and Oracle Corporation.
