Rest, one of Australia’s largest profit-to-member superannuation funds, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Ford as General Manager, Brand and Marketing to head strategic marketing initiatives across Rest’s member engagement channels.
Andrew will play a vital role in driving continued member growth, acquisition and retention through strategic brand awareness and member advocacy initiatives.
Mr Ford has more than twenty years’ experience working in super and wealth management, with a broad expertise across data-driven marketing, digital channel and campaign development, member communications, brand, and content strategy.

Mr Ford joins Rest from AMP, where he held a number of senior marketing and communications roles, including his most recent role as their Head of Marketing and Content.
He joined the fund on 21 June and is based in Rest’s Sydney office, reporting to Tyrone O’Neill, Group Executive of Member Engagement at Rest.
The role was introduced as part of the transformation of Rest’s Member Engagement team, which also included the appointment of a General Manager of Digital, and a General Manager of Member Insights and Strategy, that were announced earlier this year.
The new structure followed a significant increase in the uptake of Rest’s financial advice services and greater engagement in super and insurance over the last year.
