About the Job

The Customer Analytics team is responsible for developing analytical solutions to support a broad spectrum of business needs. They find innovative connections through data mining that provide the business with deep insights into the current and likely future behaviour of Rest’s members and employers.

As a fixed term contract this role is accountable for supporting enterprise member strategy including segmentation, lifetime value, integrated channel strategy and member experience (focussing on key journeys) and execute in concert with all teams across Rest.

Key responsibilities include:
 
  • Develop and deliver pre-campaign analysis, targeting and post implementation reviews.
  • Help devise and implement customer behavioural analysis, predictive models and trigger detection techniques
  • Develop and maintain new Tableau dashboards to support analytical solutions
  • Support the analytical needs of the business including:
    • Member analytics
    • Member NPS surveys & analytics
    • Member Voice of Customer management
  • Work closely with the others in the Customer Analytics team to deploy new analytical and predictive models
  • Contribute to projects designed to understand key business behaviours that drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement
  • Collaborate with business owners to identify analytical needs.

About You:

You have a passion for analytics and are readily able to lift the conversation out of technical jargon. With your deep understanding of the need to build strong cross functional relationships to gain the best business outcomes.
 
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in mathematics / statistical modelling / computer science / engineering or related discipline
Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
 
  • Consulting skills with the ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions
  • Knowledge of advanced analytical strategies to enhance the customer experience
  • Solid experience with a range of platforms and tools including:
    • Cloud data management, star schemas and data lakes
    • SQL, Tableau and R
    • Marketing automation
    • CRM technology
  • Experience in developing and/or deploying predictive models
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Ability to develop analytical assets for future needs
  • Possess excellent planning, organising and project management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work autonomously
  • Industry knowledge – experience and/or understanding of superannuation/ financial services industry/insurance.
