About the Job 

As a key member of the Employer & Industry Engagement Leadership team, this role is essential in leading and driving the strategic direction of our engagement with our key employers through effective partnership and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead the Employer team in building strong relationships with key employers and industry organisations
  • Positioning Rest’s products and services to deepen relationships and improve retention of members, increase awareness of Rest’s products and services and grow market share.
  • key contributor to the development of the Employer team business strategy including portfolio segmentation, value and opportunity assessment and employer value proposition. 
  • Lead the Account Management function which covers all Employer Accounts including Strategic, Priority and SME Accounts.
  • Lead the Tender and Transitions delivery
  • Build strong, commercial and persisting relationships with our existing employer base, whilst driving active business development opportunities within the portfolio.
  • Delivery of the target market strategy to acquire new employers and drive growth within existing employers
  • Build market awareness and positive engagement with Rest brand in our employer and stakeholder channels and with existing customers. 
  • Building a high performing team and culture
  • Achieve sales growth and delivery of high performance to business plans.

About You:

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience leading corporate super account servicing and business development business units
  • In depth superannuation industry and employer account management experience
  • Business development or corporate sales experience to effectively identify and act on new business opportunities.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and develop strategy in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Track record of leading successful teams and developing people for performance.
  • Ability to represent Rest as the leader of Corporate Business Development and present professionally to a range of audiences.
  • Natural leader with an ability to inspire performance with sales teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of high performance to business plans.
