About the Job
This is a high-visibility role reporting to the Group Executive, Member Engagement, with the remit of leading collaborative delivery of initiatives to achieve priority member performance objectives.

You will align, co-ordinate, and help prioritise teams and activity within Member Engagement, where relevant aligning with adjacent teams, in pursuit of key member performance objectives with an initial focus on member advocacy, member retention and direct member acquisition.  You will also manage planning and prioritisation processes across Member Engagement and lead ongoing or ad hoc priority initiatives and projects.


Key responsibilities include:
  • Achievement of member retention targets.
  • High quality reporting of performance and associated action tracking across Member Engagement, for all key metrics.
  • High-quality and effective cross-functional planning and prioritisation across Member Engagement and where relevant with other teams.
  • Synthesised cross-functional plans, adequately prioritized and resource-mapped, for achievement of members retention or other associated performance areas.
  • Program leadership (‘tribe leader’ or similar overarching scrum/product meta-leader) of member retention initiatives, including relevant direction-setting, coaching, prioritisation, issue escalation, and so on.
  • Board- and CEO-level reporting on performance and initiative tracking.
  • Management of cross-functional planning and prioritisation across Member Engagement and where relevant other teams.
  • Management or delivery of ad hoc initiatives or plans.

About You:
  • Demonstrated expertise business delivery or management with well-developed leadership skills
  • Advanced skills in collaboration and constructive cross-team leadership, ideally with agile delivery experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer/member planning and strategy.
  • Experience in applying customer/member research and insights.
  • Advanced competence in budget planning and management.
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and background.
  • Experience in digital experience and/or data-driven marketing highly desirable.
  • Experience in superannuation highly desirable.
  • Experience in management consulting (or similar role) highly desirable.
