About the Job 
Develop the strategy and roadmap that will drive executional delivery for the online member portal in support of the broader channel strategy to provide digital-first, helpful and simple member experience. Utilise best practices on web/UX and digital marketing that are fully driven by data personalisation to enable active, aware and empowered members around their super. Deliver improvements in the Web Member Portal experience which will translate in an increase of CSAT and NPS with the goal in mind to drive growth through member retention and new member acquisition.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Ownership for Rest’s Web Member Portal strategy, its alignment with Rest’s business strategy and context around the channel ecosystem (both digital and assisted channels)
  • Accountable for digital member experience and performance outcomes on the Member Portal, including CSAT, take-up rate for key member actions
  • Collaborate with the channel team as well as brand and marketing teams to develop segmented experiences and relevant functionality to increase monthly engagement
  • Support the delivery of measurable digital campaigns into the member portal and map digital customer journeys with focus on omnichannel resolution.
  • Manage execution through technical development and implementing the product life cycle plan
  • Support growth in Funds Under Management, acquisition and retention
  • Be a brand advocate and possess a good working knowledge of member and brand strategy and support the implementation of brand guidelines and visual identity.

With a communication style engages and motivates others, combined with your depth of website product management experience supports in articulating the strategy and achieving best practise and business objectives.

Desired experience, understanding or credentials including:
  • At least 5+ years of website product management experience with focus on customer data, preferably with an understanding of financial services marketing or superannuation product knowledge
  • Extensive experience in developing website channel strategies and plans to achieve business objectives
  • Strong understanding of web and integration architectures, including experience working with APIs and UX best practices and experience of data driven personalization, including behavioural nudges
  • Strong vendor management experience in a complex technical environment
  • Good understanding of reporting and research with analytical skills to interpret data findings with experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 360
  • Experience in project management, including managing and reporting on budgetary performance
  • Experience with integration of workflow technologies and solid understanding of back office processing
  • Tertiary qualifications in Digital, Marketing or a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to deliver projects using libraries such as React and with messaging technologies and with integration of AI enabled technologies
  • Developing research queries and in the analysis of customer databases
