About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Senior Content Manager to join our Member Engagement team, this is a strategic role with a big impact. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Content, your primary focus will be further developing and refining brand strategy and delivering integrated communications to drive awareness and consideration for the brand and assist our members. Responsible for the development and creation of Rest member content and calendar to meet Member Engagement’s goals across all of Rest channels.

Working in conjunction with the Graphic Designer to manage the internal creative studio, managing task prioritisation and end-to-end content production through regular sprint cycles. Also working closely with the Senior Brand Manager, Senior Acquisition Manager, Social Media specialist, and the Insights team to leverage analytics to inform the content and ensure that Rest member’s experience is optimal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create high quality and effective content for Rest’s members (and where relevant for employers) that is consistent with the Rest brand strategy
  • Work with the Head of Brand and Content to develop and execute the Rest member content strategy and calendar working collaboratively with key content and communications teams across Rest and agency partners
  • Manage the Internal Creative Studio with the Graphic Designer – prioritising and working on multiple briefs from across the business
  • Work in conjunction with the Graphic Designer and broader marketing team (and external agencies as necessary) to produce content
  • Identify content needs based on member and segment insights.
  • Leverage best practice content expertise and digital insights to optimize the efficacy of Rest’s member content. Work collaboratively with other areas of Rest including Member Engagement, Employer, Product and Operations to ensure consistent messaging and experience across Rest’s communication channels
  • Support the Social Media specialist to plan, develop, manage and execute social media across all platforms
  • Work with the Graphic Designer/suppliers to provide supporting content including video and social media assets
  • Stay abreast of best practices and champion adoption of best practice content
  • Analyse content performance across channels focusing on consistent engagement

About You:

You are an innovative thinker, creative with a customer centric approach, with a well-developed ability to make the complex simple. Comfortable and responsive to change, with consistently high attention to detail and regard for deadlines. You appreciate the strength in collaboration and pride yourself on your stakeholder management.

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in business, communications, marketing or similar discipline
  • 5+ years writing content
  • Strong creative writing skills
  • Experience in writing content across a broad variety of formats
  • Working knowledge of paid, owned and earned, and content themes applicable to each
  • Experience and knowledge on optimising and measuring content
  • Creative problem solver and able to generate ideas
  • Financial Services experience preferred
