Rest, one of Australia's largest profit-to-member superannuation funds, is farewelling Andrew Lill who has resigned from his position as Chief Investment Officer.
Rest Chief Executive Officer Vicki Doyle thanked Mr Lill for his contribution to Rest and wished him well for the future.
"Andrew joined in 2020 as our first CIO and, after nearly 5 years at Rest, has decided now is the right time to move on to his next opportunity.
"I want to recognise and thank Andrew for the work he has done to create a strong foundation for the investments team in alignment with Rest’s unique member profile.
"His accomplishments include improved performance, strong team diversity and industry leadership in responsible investing.
"The impact of Andrew’s efforts will continue to serve Rest’s 2 million members as we move forward towards our strategic goals."
Mr Lill said: "I am very grateful for this opportunity to be Rest’s first CIO, which has stretched me and challenged me in very positive ways. I am very proud of our team’s achievements in this time."
Mr Lill will finish up at Rest in November and is looking forward to spending time with family before taking up his next role.
We will now begin a comprehensive search process to appoint our new Chief Investment Officer.
