About the Job 

A great opportunity to build a career within a growing asset owner, your role as the Business Manager, Listed Assets will work closely with the Head of Listed Assets (HLA) and Listed Assets team (LA). Providing support on key operational functions as well as the day-to-day priorities and management responsibilities for the Head of Listed Assets you will cover Administration, Technology, People & Culture matters as well as Finance and budgetary responsibilities.

You will also be instrumental in assisting the Head of Listed Assets in embedding the new operating model, setting up reporting frameworks, monitoring processes as well as assistance in any communications.

Key responsibilities include:
 
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the Head of Listed Assets (HLA) , leadership team and other executive stakeholders
  • Coordinate HLA activities that support the implementation of the investment operating model and establishes and embeds any new Listed Assets functions
  • Diary management
  • Managing and supporting HR activities including onboarding new starters, enhancing induction programs, arranging stakeholder meetings, systems training etc
  • Manage Listed Assets group finances and budget including administrating expense claims, travel arrangements, processing of invoices etc
  • Coordinate and attend meetings (e.g. formal committee meetings and LA leadership meetings) including scheduling invitations, booking rooms (if required), setting up agendas, occasional minute taking etc.
  • Manage and support Investment team communication between Melbourne & Sydney and with the wider Rest business
  • Develop, organize, and manage team events including business planning, strategy days, socials and off-site workshops
  • Manage general office related operations and procedures, including office space rotations 
  • Undertaking analysis of function issues and developing opportunities and solutions for the LA function
 
About You:
 
  • Finance, Accounting or Business Degree or related working experience
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications, particularly in MS Teams.
Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
 
  • Worked to provide Management support to an Investments or Financial Services Executive, Team or related business area
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, prioritise and organise.
  • Agile and adaptable; able to operate in fast paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable and effective in dealing with a broad range of people.
  • Commercial awareness
  • Capable numeracy skills including ability to work with financial budgets and forecasts.
  • High degree of confidentiality and interpersonal sensitivity.
  • Stakeholder management. Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at all level, including high level written and verbal skills.
  • Solid understanding of Investment functions
