Develop and implement the strategy and roadmap for Rest’s website based on customer-centric design principles. Responsible for delivering a website experience that increases the number of meaningful member interactions and supports self-service at scale, whilst embodying Rest’s brand principles. Utilise best practice in web UX, SEO and data-driven digital marketing to deliver personalised and targeted content and next best actions so that members feel confident and supported.

A key success factor for this role will be the continuous delivery of features and enhancements to improve customer satisfaction with Rest’s website experience, contributing to positive growth in NPS, member retention and new member acquisition. 

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Responsible for member satisfaction with the website and for performance outcomes including key metrics such as member portal registration and usage, app downloads and consolidation experience
  • Ongoing optimisation of the marketing funnel for improved performance, in conjunction with other members of the digital team
  • Be a brand advocate and possess a good working knowledge of member and brand strategy and support the implementation of brand guidelines and visual identity.
  • Support the delivery of digital campaigns into the website channel
  • Own channel insights and drive a program of ongoing optimisation to deliver the best possible user experience
  • Provide trusted advice to the marketing team, providing guidance for creative application of promotional campaigns within the digital space at design briefing stage
  • Act as a strategic adviser to others within the organisation on digital web experience and website development
  • Lead on the development of the team’s annual budget and financial forecast in relation to internal and external expenditure
  • Assists with the development of appropriate training materials for front line staff to ensure adequate product knowledge for client sales and support. Includes performing training as needed
  • Support FUM acquisition and retention.

With a communication style that engages and motivates others, combined with your depth of website product management experience supports in articulating the strategy and achieving best practise and business objectives.

Experience, understanding or credentials including:
  • At least 5 years of website product management experience, preferably in an agile environment to achieve business objectives
  • Strong understanding of web and integration architectures, including strong understanding of APIs and of UX best practices
  • Key understanding and experience of data driven personalization, including behavioural nudges
  • Ability to present to large groups a clear and motivational manner
  • Strong vendor management experience in a complex technical environment
  • Good understanding of HTML and CMS integration and knowledge of SEO, you ‘get the logic’ of content architecture and can ‘tell the story’
  • Good understanding of reporting and research with analytical skills to interpret data findings with experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 360
  • Experience in project management, including managing and reporting on budgetary performance
  • Experience with integration of workflow technologies and solid understanding of back office processing.

  • Understanding of financial services marketing and specific superannuation product knowledge and fund administration
  • Experience in leading formal and informal teams
  • Experience in developing research queries and in the analysis of customer databases.
  • knowledge of Kentico is a plus.
