About the Job
Working in a highly collegiate and engaged team, where the focus is on delivering the best possible advice, whilst enabling you to bring your best to work and to develop as a professional.  Working with some of the best in the industry, you will be kept up to date with legislation, industry changes, and new strategies to everyday Australians. 
This role provides intra-fund advice to Rest members. This will generally be phone-based advice on a range of topics all relating to the members interest in Rest. This role requires understanding of the financial planning process in relation to the provision of advice. 

Acting in the best interest of our member, our goal is to provide quality, compliant advice.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Provide high quality intra-fund advice to Rest members within the scope of the advice service proposition and regulatory framework.
  • Complete Statements of Advice in relation to the intra-fund advice provided, and assist in the implementation of the advice with the Rest member as required. And to comply with the administration and record keeping obligations.
  • Identify the member’s financial planning needs.
  • Engage members via phone, for the advice discussion and implementation.
  • As required attend employer worksites for face to face advice.
  • Participate in proactive outbound campaigns on designated advice topics in conjunction with other internal business units.
  • Participate in regular training and keep up to date with legislation, industry changes, and new strategies and product changes/enhancements.

About You:
You have a collaborative team style and an understanding of the importance of delivering and ability to articulate the value of personal financial advice – in an easily understand manner. You take pride in your profession and want to feel valued for the work you do - knowing that it matters.
Requirements include:
  • Tertiary qualification in Financial Planning (must be a FASEA approved degree)
  • Maintained CPD in accordance with your qualification
  • Good understanding of the financial planning process
  • Exposure to financial planning software
  • Registered on the FAR register between 01/01/2016 and 01/01/2019 or be willing to undertake the requirements of a supervision program for a period of 12 months
