Based on feedback received from business decision makers throughout 2014 Rest Industry Super was awarded Business Superannuation Manager of the Year 2014 at the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards in Melbourne last night.
According to Roy Morgan, Rest ranked number one in its category for customer satisfaction for the most months in 2014 based on monthly surveying conducted by Roy Morgan of around 12,000 business decision makers across Australia.
Rest Chief Executive Officer, Damian Hill said: "We are proud and honoured to receive a customer satisfaction award based on feedback from our employers. We will continue to focus on delivering great customer service, a strong product range and consistent long-term investment performance as we work to make a real difference to the retirement of millions of Australians.
"While awards and recognition are pleasing, we will continue to work hard to introduce innovations that deliver long-term value for employers who do business with us. In 2013 we launched our innovative Rest Corporate product which helps employers to comply with their superannuation guarantee obligations.
"In addition, we have introduced access to a new third party clearing house facility through our secure employer portal which will allow businesses to pay their contributions to us with one file and one payment, no matter the number of default or choice funds," he said.
The award is the latest of many recently received by Rest. In an industry first, Rest was awarded The Super Fund of the Year and also Best Industry Fund for 2014 at SuperReview's inaugural Super Fund of the Year awards late last year. SuperRatings also awarded Rest Pension of the Year 2015, making it the second year in a row Rest received this award.
In December 2014, Rest was also awarded Best Super Fund Manager and Best Pension Fund Manager 2015 at the Best of the Best awards for 2015 by Money magazine, becoming the first super fund to receive a Best of the Best award in both categories two years in a row. Rest also received Super Fund of the Year for 2014 at the Chant West/Conexus Financial Super Funds Awards.*
