About the Job

Based in our Member Engagement Group, your role as the Brand Strategy and Insights Manager will lead the Brand Strategy team in the definition of the enterprise brand strategy, lifetime value and brand experience.  A highly collaborative role, you will have an enterprise approach leveraging expertise and input from across the Rest teams and our key suppliers to develop leading end-to-end member solutions.

This is an ideal opportunity for a brand advocate to work in a highly strategic position, bringing our brand to life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, maintain and review effectiveness of Rest’s brand strategy across all enterprise channels
  • Develop and design research strategy and approach to deliver extensive insights for the enterprise
  • Initiate and manage research including survey design and analysis through quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and draw insights to develop more effective brand, member and employer activities
  • Collaboration with the Member Engagement team to design, develop, maintain and review effectiveness the brand omni-channel marketing and experience strategy
  • Design and develop the brand measures of success, ensuring ongoing delivery to goals
  • Work collaboratively with the Strategy, Planning & Governance team to align the brand strategy with corporate goals
  • Analysing customer reporting (including NPS, CSAT, campaign reporting, internal and external research insights and business reporting) to gain valuable insights for strategic and tactical decision making
  • Contribute to the design and development of Rest’s member segment strategies and employer strategies to drive Rest’s strategic goals;
  • Drive FUM acquisition and retention goals


About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in social sciences, marketing, market research or a similar discipline or equivalent experience
  • Human Centred design or Six Sigma certification is highly regarded
  • Extensive experience in leading customer service and brand functions,
  • Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries would be highly regarded
  • Experience in integrated marketing, particularly end-to-end development and execution of large programs
  • Proven research skills and the ability to convert customer insights into communication strategies
  • Experience managing vendor partners and key relationships with external agencies
  • Demonstrated understanding of human centred design including design thinking and journey mapping
