The Job:

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking to bring on board an experienced Relationship Manager to retain and grow the Rest employer/member portfolio through outstanding Key Account Management within existing Rest employers.

This role is ideally suited to someone who prides themselves on their ability to identify growth opportunities and promote the Rest products and services that will meet the needs of our employers, deepening the relationship and encouraging the uptake of Rest’s products to attract new business within the accounts.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Identifying and executing growth opportunities within our Key & Priority Accounts by developing and maintaining relationships with employer contacts, influencers and decision makers.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to Priority Employer clients, working with Rest teams and partners to deliver on expectations and resolve issues if required.
  • Growing Priority clients by identifying additional opportunities within existing employers/parent companies and by positioning Rest’s products and services to deepen relationships grow market share.
  • Developing and proactively delivery annual engagement and activity plans with employers that align with Rest’s strategic objectives of deep engagement with employers
  • Educating and engaging employees at our Key & Priority accounts to pursue better retirement outcomes (e.g. via education and other programs).
  • Production and using tailored reporting on employer client activities, employee activity, usage and engagement with Rest to pursue deeper client understanding and insights and better service the client and their employees. 
  • Identifying opportunities to implement or improve existing products and services to Key & Priority employers and their staff.

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Proven experience in B2B relationship management
  • In depth Superannuation or Financial services industry knowledge
  • Previous experience managing strategic accounts
  • Understanding of superannuation practices and legislation would be highly regarded
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Proven influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoy bringing new ideas to the table and contributing to new ways of working
