This is a 12 month contract where you will act as a dedicated marketing resource for supporting Rest’s Advice and Education services with responsibility for strategic planning and delivery on the development and implementation of targeted member campaigns, experiences & programs to drive positive member CSAT, NPS, Retention and Education within Rest’s base.

Working closely with the GM Advice and Education and the Head of Member Marketing to ensure all activity contributes positively to driving desired business objectives, through the planning processes.

Along with collaborating closely with various teams across Rest to ensure alignment with the Rest Brand & overarching business strategy and to ensure consistency of messaging and marketing integration.   Whilst building a solid relationship with our agency and media partners to drive efficient and effective member outcomes in line.

Key responsibilities include:                       
  • Responsible for developing quarterly and annual marketing plans for Advice and Education designed to increase distribution and engagement for members, as well as prioritise key initiatives to drive positive CSAT, NPS, Education & ultimately Retention.
  • Drive improved awareness of the Advice and Education offering, both to internal stakeholders and externally through member and employer channels.
  • Work with the Senior Manager – Lifecycle Marketing to integrate Advice and Education into existing marketing strategies, triggered comms and member journeys designed to improve engagement and outcomes.
  • Build a strategy that reinforces the value of Advice and Education to members, encouraging uptake and reducing attrition as a result.
  • Work collaboratively with the Member Engagement team and relevant agencies to deliver insight-driven briefs and excellence in execution.
  • Manage the Advice & Education Marketing budget to ensure all initiatives are cost-effective and within budget.
  • Work alongside the Marketing Automation & Delivery Team, and the Customer Analytics Team to ensure excellence in campaign implementation (using segmentation), evaluation, reporting & ongoing optimisation. And to drive the use of marketing automation best practice via the Marketo platform, including the use of highly targeted dynamic content.

About You:
You’re a brand guardian, influencer, driven with a highly collaborative style.  You recognise that communication is fundamental, relishing working within the broader Member Engagement Team and with a wide range of external stakeholders. Taking pride in the delivery and impact of your contribution.  
  • Tertiary qualifications in a marketing or similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience within a regulated industry, ideally financial services.
  • Excellent knowledge of 121 direct marketing, specifically CRM and digital.
  • Solid end-to-end marketing campaign management experience and a proven track record of results.
  • Excellent grasp of Customer Experience principles and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience in developing communication materials for various audiences, including PPT presentations designed to deliver a consistent strategic message, capture approach, results and a PIR.
  • Strong brief writing skills specifically geared towards an insight-driven approach.
  • Experience in managing marketing effectiveness through campaigns metrics, developing and delivering against KPIs.
  • Experienced stakeholder management, ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and within different forums.
  • Excellence in project management, including managing and reporting on budgetary performance and strict timeline management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a deep understanding of research and an ability to interpret data findings and implement insights.
Desirable, but not essential:
  • Specific superannuation/insurance product knowledge, not essential but will be highly regarded. Along with experience supporting and Advice/Education function within a financial services company.
  • Experience and working knowledge of financial advice and education services.
  • Experience in managing automated campaigns, using tools similar to Marketo.and working with targeted social media advertising.
