About the Job 
Build and manage a motivated team who are focused on the design and implementation of targeted 121 member campaigns, experiences & programs to drive positive member CSAT, NPS, Retention and Education within our base. While building the profile of the Member Marketing Team within the business and with our agency and media partners to drive efficient and effective member outcomes.

Working closely and engaging with various teams across Rest to ensure alignment with the Rest Brand & overarching business strategy, ensuring all activity contributes positively to driving business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:                       
  • Assist the Head of Member Marketing in building the Lifecycle Marketing Team.
  • Lead and motivate the Lifecycle Marketing Team to ensure excellence in delivery and marketing capability, specifically 121 data-driven communications and campaigns. Working to manage strict project timelines.
  • Develop quarterly and annual plans designed to manage team resource, as well as prioritise key initiatives to drive positive CSAT, NPS, Education & Retention.
  • Work with the Lifecycle Marketing Managers in developing their marketing strategies, comms plans and member journeys designed to improve engagement and outcomes.
  • Closely manage the strategic and creative agency, assisting the team in writing insight-driven briefs designed to deliver excellence in execution.
  • Manage Lifecycle Member Marketing budget to ensure all initiatives are cost-effective and within budget.
  • Work alongside the Marketing Automation & Delivery Team, and the Customer Analytics Team to ensure excellence in campaign implementation (using segmentation), evaluation, reporting & ongoing optimisation and to drive the use of marketing automation best practice via the Marketo platform, including the use of highly targeted dynamic content.
  • Focus on building out automated lifecycle planning for comms, based on behavioural and event-based triggers.
  • Build relationships and help raise awareness of member engagement initiatives across the organisation and with key strategic partners.
  • Be a brand champion, driving continuous improvement and proactively looking for opportunities to improve member experience, ensuring consistency of brand, tone of voice and member messaging across all member touchpoints.

About You:
You’re a brand guardian, influencer, exceptional people leader and driven with a highly collaborative style.  You recognise that communication is fundamental, relishing working within the broader Member Engagement Team and with a wide range of external stakeholders. Taking pride in the delivery and impact of your teams contribution.  

Tertiary qualifications in a marketing or similar discipline, or equivalent experience.  

Desired experience, understanding or credentials including:
  • 10+ years of 121 marketing experience, specifically CRM and digital within a regulated industry, ideally financial services. Working knowledge of superannuation fund administration and superannuation/insurance product knowledge highly regarded.
  • Extensive experience of people management including building and developing a high performing team.
  • Solid end-to-end marketing campaign management experience and a proven track record of results. With an excellent grasp of Customer Experience principles and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience in developing communication materials for various audiences, including PPT presentations designed to deliver a consistent strategic message, capture approach, results and a PIR.
  • Strong brief writing skills specifically geared towards an insight-driven approach.
  • Experience in managing marketing effectiveness through campaigns metrics, developing and delivering against KPIs.
  • Excellence in project management, including managing and reporting on budgetary performance and strict timeline management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a deep understanding of research and an ability to interpret data findings and implement insights.
  • Experience in managing automated campaigns using Marketo or similar. Working with targeted social media advertising.
