First Nations Support

Superannuation support for First Nations members and their loved ones.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. We also pay our respects to Elders past and present.

We acknowledge the ongoing connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to this land and recognise them as the original custodians of this land.

Support when someone passes away

If a loved one has passed away and they had super with Rest, you may be able to get their super, with a death benefit claim. We’re here to help you through the process, we accept alternative First Nations ID documents, and can work with your financial counsellor.

The fastest way to get things moving is to call us, but if you can’t speak the person’s name (or if phoning is difficult), you can email us or fill out the Death benefit form below. You can also access our guide to claiming a death benefit here.

What to expect during the claims process

Reconciliation and Rest

Rest’s vision for reconciliation is to help create a fairer super system that supports First Nations members and works to close the super gap.

We're proud to work with First Nations Foundation, who help us with reconciliation plans and advice on supporting our members.

They have videos that will teach you more about money and how to help make your money dreams happen.
